Mudra Max, Milestone, JCDecaux bag key awards at OAA 2012

The Indian outdoor advertising industry gathered on 9 June to honour and acknowledge people and agencies who have contributed in energising and leveraging the possibilities for growth in the industry.

The two-day Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) concluded with Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA). The first day of the convention included exhaustive presentations by industry leaders on the future of the outdoor advertising industry.

This year OAA 2012 received 588 entries, the highest in its history. 53 metals were handed at the awards ceremony, which consisted of 18 golds, 21 silvers, and 14 bronzes.

DDB Mudra Max bagged 14 metals, the highest among the participants. Milestone Brandcom took home nine metals, followed by Group M-Dialogue Factory and Bates Wallstreet who won 3 metals each. MOMS Outdoor Media Solutions, JWT, Lintas Initiative Outdoor and Platinum Communications were some other prominent winners.

JCDecaux India was handed a gold in the National Media Owner of the Year category, followed by Atin Promotions & Advertising who won a silver and Times Innovative Media (TIM), a bronze.

The award entries were judged by two separate jury panels for the creative and the media entries respectively and the entire process was managed, audited and overseen by Ernst & Young.
