MK Printpack inaugurates fourth unit in Sriperumbudur

Anil Kumar, the managing director of the company while unveiling its fourth ambitious venture stated that new unit in Sriperumbudur, South India gives reinforcement to the endeavour for a pan-India presence. He added, "South India is emerging as a hub of manufacturing units with the presence of SIDCO, SIPCOT in and around Tamil Nadu housing Industries from various domains such as FMCG, liquor, shoe boxes, pharma, electronic as well as electrical goods. This gives us ample opportunity to cater to the growing market needs."

The day-long celebration of the ISO 9001:2015, PS 9000:2011, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000 and FSC certified company was attended by clients, suppliers, technical partners and vendors who got a tour of the shopfloor. The new plant in Sriperumbudur boasts of a Komori six-colour Lithrone 40 with a coater and a Brausse auto die-cutting kit followed by a manual punching machine, Meiguang sheet laminator, Perfecta cutting machine, Auto UV Screen Printing, CTP system, a rigid box machine, corrugation machines, automatic sample-making machines, F&G kit along with QC equipment. The aim was of the factory is to provide a compact and comprehensive end solution in mono cartons, three-ply corrugated packaging as well as rigid box requirements.
