MIT announces Media Congress 2017

Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) announced the seventh edition of their Media Congress would be held on 14 and 15 December 2017.

“As you would know printing industry has developed so well to be a multidisciplinary engineering and technology profession. In this context, our conference will provide a platform for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of digital media science, printing technology and management. The topics for our conference are coined in such a way that it is interdisciplinary,” said Dr Amrutharaj H Krishnan, professor and head, department of printing and media engineering at MIT.

All the selected papers from the conference are expected to be published as proceedings in series lecture note in mechanical engineering, which is indexed in Scopus.

The four topics of interest in the conference are- ‘Technological problems and sustainable solutions’, ‘Innovative trends in packaging technology’, ‘Press Management’ and ‘Smart and innovative trends in digital media’.

Meanwhile, the conference logo was released recently by  Dr Gopalakrishna Prabhu, pro vice chancellor (technology and management) Manipal University and director MIT, in the presence of Dr BHV Pai, joint director, Sudheesh Rao, VP, R&D and Shashiranjan, VP & SBU head, Manipal Technologies.
