Labelexpo 2017 is almost booked

“More than 83% exhibitors of Labelexop Europe 2015, have re-booked their space and confirmed participation for the next edition of the exhibition to be held in 2017,” said Lisa Milburn, managing director, Tarsus Group, the organisers of the event.

The next edition of Labelexop Europe will take place from 25 to 28 September 2017.

“Percentage-wise, we see a double digit growth in the number of visitors at Labelexop Brussels 2015. Hybrid digital printing presses and palette printing were the focus at the show,” she added.

She said this year, most exhibitors did good business. For example, Xeikon made double the sales this year, and Gallus sold the maximum number of machines compared to earlier editions of Labelexpo Brussels.

While traditionally Labelexpo has been a show primarily focused on all things label, Milburn indicated that in the future, the show is likely to embrace packaging printing as a whole, turning it into a label and packaging printing show.

“Machines manufacturers like KBA displayed its machine in the exhibition this year. This is our new target market because most of the printing presses manufacturers are coming with short run production printing press."

Labelexo India 2016is likely to take place in Greater Noida, which is a better and well-planned venue.

This year, Labelexpo Europe saw participation of 648 exhibitors.
