Kodak enhances local customer service with new operation in Goa

This facility will help Kodak to increase its service capabilities to its customers quickly and efficiently. According to Kodak, the new offset plate finishing and packaging operation will join the film, photo finishing, and entertainment imaging services in Goa.

Bhalchandra Nikumb, head of sales and channel management at Kodak India, said: ""Offset plate demand in India is strong, and our customers need fast, reliable service that meets their production needs and keeps their presses running.""

Nikumb added: "The "Indian print industry has various plate sizes and the requirement of the same varies. With this facility, we will be in a position to provide faster delivery, be more competitive and also respond more quickly to the customers needs."

Kodak claims that this facility of offset plate finishing and packaging will cut and supply any size offset plate that is required without having to order new sizes from China or Europe.
