KMPA celebrates Onam festival

Onam festival is widely celebrated among the people in Kerala. The Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) and their family members had come together to celebrate the festive season of Onam.

For the first time, KMPA had taken the initiative to celebrate the season of joy with the family members of the association and the association had organised the event at PJ Princess Regency Hotel, Kochi. 
 
During the event, KMPA had honoured T M Rajan of Process Colour and AMSG Ashokan, president, South India Printers Association (SIPA).
 
Ashokan was present at the event, with 30 printers from SIPA and the printers had come from different parts of Tamil Nadu. Around 200 guests were present to celebrate the festival, including 50 KMPA members.
 
KMPA also rewarded cash prizes to 12 students of printing technology institutions in Kerala and the event was supported by Provin Technos, the Indian representative of Japan-based Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology.
 
In Kerala, there have been signs of positive investment in offset printing, pre-press CtP and digital printing. In the past one year, the printers have an investment around Rs 50 crores in digital and photo album segment. Also, the investments are speeding up in post-press and binding industry.
