The three-day conference will look at how to implement colour-managed workflows within smaller businesses and will examine the costs and benefits through presentations and workshops.

It will include discussions on colour management from an RGB image to ISO standard press conditions, looking at ICC profiles, and PDF standards within a virtual workflow.

Kiran Prayagi of PmIndia said: "The days of relying on the black art of getting press minders to achieve matches by eye are over, with variations in print quality no longer acceptable to customers. Colour management allows printers to control all inputs to let the press run at its most effective, saving valuable makeready time and waste, and enabling those companies with multiple presses to run them consistently. The result is proofs that match press results, with print buyers feeling satisfied and reassured"

The conference will take place on from 1-3 March 2012 at Hotel Sun Ville Banquet, Worli in Mumbai.

Kiran Prayagi of PmIndia said: “The delegates will benefit from presentations and technical knowledge which will be shared during the three-day conference. Most importantly, we have user-based workshops conducted by the manufacturers and suppliers who will display their technology.”

The three-day Colour Conference is being held in co-operation with PrintWeek India and Campaign India and the sponsors are Chromasens, Germany, X-Rite, Switzerland, and Advanced Graphic Systems, India.
