At the expo, HP demonstrated its HP Designjet L26500 and HP Designjet Z6200.

Through these, HP wanted to promote latex ink as a superior alternative to prevailing wide format technology.  HP L26500 based on latex technology offers double-sided printing capabilities with less user intervention and more accurate, automated registration. It is compatible with more than 500 media solutions, from banners, textiles, paper, SAV, films, synthetic medias, Tyvek etc.; including the new HP double-sided HDPE Reinforced Banner material.

HP also displayed a wide variety of applications of the latex printing technology by dividing its stand into three distinct sections that covered outdoor, retail and interior decoration as well as vehicle graphics.

“HP Latex is the future of wide format printing and is going to provide explosive growth to the customers. Also, with organisations becoming more and more environment conscious, green printing is the new chant for the printing industry. A revolutionary technology like this is the need of the hour.” said Dhirendra Khurana, country manager, sign and display, HP.

“HP has always believed in innovations in the printing space. The eco-friendly promise by HP will take the printing industry to a new paradigm and will create a benchmark for the brand advertising business.” said Mahesh Kumar Soni, country business manager (design) - GSB, HP India.
