While mains power supplies usually get a constant dip, sags, spikes or noise, according to Malcolm Rae, managing director, GEW, the Rhino Rack protects power supplies in a neat space-saving enclosure designed to survive arduous environment of a printing setup.

“Rhino sets the new benchmark in effective UV technology, enabling our customers to print faster for longer, with less energy and no downtime,”Rae added.

Rae said Rhino provides converters with 95% energy efficient system. “We have direct experience of customers saving over 50% of their energy consumption,” he said. “In many cases, this has allowed additional presses to be installed without increasing incoming mains capacity.”

UK-based GEW has been one of the leaders in manufacturing a range of arc lamps and solid-state UV light sources for wide-web CI presses, silicone release coating, inkjet and industrial applications, which were also on display at its stall.

“The narrow-web converters can benefit from combining the benchmark E2C low energy UV lamphead with Rhino for energyefficient UV solution,” he added.
