Ad Exxx installs first HP hybrid in the North East

Guwahati-based Ad Exxx has expanded its traditional internal sign shops branding and outdoor signage printing by adding a new HP Designjet H45500 printer. This is the first hybrid UV installation in North East India.

The new installation has enabled the firm to print on rigid substrates among others like sun board, acrylic, glassware and canvas.

Firoj Choudhary owner of the firm, said: "We now do not have to mount or laminate which has made our workflow more efficient and cost-effective."

The firm, operates from a two floor set-up of 1,100 sqft area with staff of 12 uses HP inks and uses substrates from Maxx, Avery Dennison, 3M, TechNova and Starflex.

"The use of UV-curable ink helps us with instant finishing and products delivery options, thereby allowing higher productivity and more effective use of staff and equipment," said Choudhary.

Ad Exxx serves client like Aircel, Airtel, Maruti, Hyundai, LG, Sony and more and has an annual turnover of Rs 80 lakh  and hopes to scale it up to a crore soon. "The 15 to 20% growth witnessed in the signage and display segment will help us meet our target," said Choudhary.
