EskoArtwork gains new traction with existing and new customers

Bengaluru-based EskoArtwork has announced new customers for EskoArtwork software workflow, CDI Spark flexo CTP, Kongsberg sample making and digital finishing solutions, software editors like Artpro 10, ArtiosCAD, DeskPack and FlexRip.

TCPL Packaging Silvasa, Haridwar and Accura ReproTech (all units of TCPL) have gone in for EskoArtwork workflow with a Software Supreme Care (SSC) contract. SSC is a like software maintenance contract, where EskoArtwork will maintain TCPL’s software to the latest releases and patches and also offer complete remote support.

Under the arrangement, Esko will prioritise the call logs of TCPL and provides free remote support on these logs. The SSC contract is for complete EskoArtwork workflow solutions at all the divisions of TCPL.

Esko has also renewed its SSC and MC (hardware maintenance) contract with Tetra Pak based in Lahore, Pakistan. The SSC is for Tetra Pak’s software workflow, and the MC is for the EskoArtwork CDI Spark 4260 platesetter and the EskoArtwork Kongsberg XL 20 flatbed plotter. The renewal will further help and boost the packing prepress solutions of Tetra Pak’s Pakistan unit to serve its customers with global standards of Tetrapak.

Etone India based in Howrah, West Bengal; Krishna Gravure in Faridabad, Haryana and Packaging India in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu have upgraded to Artpro 10 from Artpro 8.

Raghu Menon, regional customer care manager, South Asia said: "On the virtue of the Artpro 10 under the umbrella of EskoArtwork Suite 10 solutions upgrade, these Esko customers have received all the enhanced features of the product with the keyless licenses. The new GUI changes the complete look and feel of the product. The software is now enabled with features like instant trapper and GS1 barcode support. Overall, a productivity and efficiency increase of about 25% is noted by our customers by these upgrades."

"The support team for South Asia has new additions in application support and today we cater to South Asian (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) customer needs and services from our Bangalore office. I believe EskoArtwork is focused on investments in India – especially post sales support activity," added Raghu.

Any Graphics India based in Noida, Delhi NCR has added EskoArtwork ArtiosCAD, EskoArtwork DeskPack and FlexRip to their packaging Prepress infrastructure. "Any Graphics is enhancing their offset packaging division. The new software SW add-ons like ArtiosCAD will greatly help in the packaging design. The DeskPack will further boost the productivity of standard Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and the multi-purpose FlexRip will provide the quality control tool to handle a variety of output formats along with driving a wide range of printing processes, thereby streamlining their operations."
