Horizon’s booth is relocated from Hall 13 to Hall 6 Stand 6D05-1with a larger size foot print (1460 square meters booth). This would also be the first-time participation for ePrint Machinery, their Indian partners.

Speaking about their plans, Eijiro Hori, president of Horizon said, “Digital technology has been advancing rapidly, and we are always considering what changes are necessary and which direction we should take.”

“We understand that the rapid changes in technology in all areas creates challenges and opportunities for the print industry, how to make the technology work for our customers.  We as a manufacturer must also ask ourselves the same questions.  So when we say “Change the Focus” we are not only asking this of our customers, but it is a challenge to ourselves as well,” he added.

Among its 24 showcased working systems – in various zones featuring perfect bind, stitch, fold, and digital applications – will be three new portfolio additions. They include Horizon BQ-480 variable four-clamp binder, Horizon AFV-566T6F fully automated buckle folder and an Intelligent Feed Bookletmaking system.

“The concept of “Focus on Post-press, as the key to production efficiency” will be shown through our ‘Solutions Presentation’ sessions.  Six live presentations will be hosted daily in cooperation with leading vendors from workflow, prepress and press segments of our industry.  The presentations will feature three Horizon Finishing Systems,” explained Hori.

The presentations would feature an Integrated Roll-to-Booklet solution, Smart Finishing Solution, hybrid Smart Binding System and a Horizon SmartStacker.

“We believe our partnership has come at the right time during a Drupa year. We are excited and would utilise this opportunity to re-connect with all our existing (Horizon) customers and also meet the industry leaders at large,” said Omprakash H R, managing director of ePrint Machinery.
