Jeeten Bhambari of B P Lipeds, said, “We faced problems in the plates which were being outsourced. The prints were not up to the mark, there was no consistency in plates and there were delays.  We thought it was better to go for an in-house CTP system than to displease the clients.”

According to Kodak, Bhambari opted for a Trendsetter since Kodak thermal technology remains a favourite among printers chiefly catering to the telecom, packaging and pharma industries. The selection was based on trials and they tested that reproduction of dots on plate matched the originals using Kodak Imaging and Thermal Plate Technology.

B P Lipeds is the new venture of the group which includes Bhambari Print Pack in Baddi and Bhambari Printers in Chandigarh. It is a one-stop shop for all print needs of the clients. Jeeten Bhambari who looks after the marketing of all the three operations said, “B P Lipeds is in its initial stage. We are into the expansion phase and quite a few installations are lined up. We are very excited about the vast capabilities of Kodak Trendsetter.”

The printing facility at B P Lipids is equipped with a four-colour Planeta; a Polar cutting machine; Heidelberg cylinders for foiling and die-cutting etc.

The Baddi facility caters to the packaging demands of the growing industry in the area which includes mono-cartons, paper inserts, sticker labels, cut labels, E-flute cartons etc. Also, they render services to telecom and pharma companies.

The clientele includes Dabur Pharma, J&J Medicals, Devyani Foods, Cipla, Paras Pharmaceuticals, Laborate Pharmaceuticals, Airtel, Tata Docomo, Vodafone, Reliance, VTL, SBI, Dish TV, LG, Haryana Tourism, Himachal Tourism, Cosmetica, Vanessa, Mico Bosch to name a few.
