Top brands launch products at IndiaCorr Part I

“This year the show has over 250 Indian and international companies. Almost 35% of the exhibitors are international coming from China, Taiwan, USA, Hong Kong, Spain, Germany, Japan, UK, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Korea, UAE and Singapore. Seeing the past editions, over 7000 trade visitors are expected to witness the wide array of exhibits from corrugated box making machineries, printing & lamination machines, testing equipment, adhesives, inks, ancillary equipment, papers, folding carton converting equipment, paper bag manufacturers, testing equipment, pre-press equipment, software etc,” said Anuj Mathur, managing director, Reed Manch Exhibitions who are the organisers of the event.

Artize Die Makers

Artize Die-Makers is introducing its male female stripping dies and pertinex counter plate and steel counter plate at the IndiaCorr Expo platform.

Established in 2011, Artize Die Makers is perhaps one of the youngest manufacturers of flatbed dies that has already reached the big league. So much so that recently the company inaugurated a brand-new facility in Kundli Industrial Area in Haryana. Understandably, the new facility is much bigger in terms of size, capacity and technology, and is more technical equipped. The company’s earlier plant is in Naraina Industrial Area in the heart of Delhi. With both the plants, Artize now has a capacity and technology to produce 200 dies per day, with the help of a team of 40 people.

According to a company spokesman, the male female stripping dies are manufactured by utilising high-grade raw materials and cutting edge techniques, which are used for eliminating residual waste of cartons in packaging industries. Pertinex counter plate is extensively used to cut and engrave different designs to cater the diverse needs of commercial and residential sectors.

AS Print Aids to launch Policart anvil covers

Policart one of the leading suppliers of anvil covers and urethane components to the corrugated industry. The product is being championed by AS Print Aids, which apart from the world-famous creasing systems from CITO, also deal with Hunkeler, Buhrs, Tresu in India.

According to Arun Gandhi of AS Print Aids, "Policart's anvil covers are designed with the operator in mind. They contain no metal parts, meaning that one can increase the changes of position without the fear and risk of damaging the anvil covers. The inter-locking design guarantees a strong and tight fit, and is easy to remove from the cylinder, vital for fast and efficient rotations, reducing downtime figures. The urethane material is developed for performance and longevity."

Emba Machinery

Emba Machinery, the Swedish manufacturer of automatic flexo folder-gluers for corrugation industry will promote its unique Ultima technology platform – this time with a solution, that enables doubling production capacity of RSC boxes by using:

TwinFeed is an option for the Emba 245 QS Ultima, to enable feeding two identical sheets from 280 mm up to 520 mm in running direction in a single machine cycle. The extended Emba Magna XL VSC slotting unit makes it possible to make the slots on both sheets in the slotting unit. The result: up to 30 000 boxes per hour. The DualBox innovation combined with the intelligent Ultima platform, the unique Non Crush Converting and Quick-Set, makes Emba 245 QS Ultima "unbeatable" according to a company spokesman. 

Erhardt+ Leimer

Erhardt+ Leimer will showcase its Corr Aligner + Tension Master (automatic guiding and tension control systems for bridge area of the corrugator), Elcorr TLC – self adjusting tension compensating roller and a tension control system for reel stands (load cell, digital controller and pneumatic brake) this year at IndiaCorr Expo.

Corr Aligner is a fully automated web guiding control system which excellent lamination result by master/slave guiding. The Elcorr compensating roller compensates self-adjusting thickness, length and alignment differences occurring in a moving paper web. The best possible support of the web on the rollers located to each side of the compensating roller in the preheater, preconditioner, glue unit as well as in the double backer is thereby achieved. The tension controller controls the tension on a running web. It compares a preset with the measured tension value and produces the appropriate corrective variable to maintain the two at the same level.

Robus India

Robus India has been in the news for its manufacture of on-line inspection systems. The Haridwar based company will be launching exclusive range of different products at the India Folding Carton 2017. These include online braille, collecting table, online and offline 100% printing check, high speed automatic sheet lamination with flying knife, fully automatic sheet cutter and automatic carton stapler – single and double dead with design options..

The Robus folder gluer which has a starting price at Rs 36 lakh is also available in the market.
