[China Print 2013]: 13 Indian entries win HP Print Excellence Awards

It was a good show for Indian print firms at the HP Print Excellence awards, which was hosted on 11 May 2013 in Beijing. Among 300 entries from printing companies across 14 countries from Asia Pacific and Japan, 13 Indian entries successfully bagged the award.

The Chandigarh-based Buzz IMC, a part of Samgul Graphics & Printers, received three awards. Besides Direct Mail and Transpromo award and Outdoor Advertising award, the company, was honoured with the Most Creative Award using HP Indigo technology. In addition, Sri Sivarama Digital Press from Andhra Pradesh bagged two awards for Photo Books and special recognition for Commercial Printing – Calendars.

13.   Commercial Reprographers: Retail Point-of-Purchase/Point-of-Sale - Third Winner

The HP hosted annual competition is held in the Asia Pacific and Japan, as part of the worldwide HP Print Excellence Awards, which recognises excellence in print through innovation and creativity in labels and packaging; signage and commercial printing categories. Applications produced on HP Scitex industrial printers and presses and Indigo digital presses were considered for the awards across 25 categories.
