Excel Machinery 

Vadodara-based Excel Machinery is the manufacturer of made in India die-cutting and automatic punching machine for packagers engaged in providing paper packaging to pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries. Established in 1987, Excel Machinery has sold more than 52 machines. The die-cutting machine manufacturer has invested more than Rs 2-crore in expanding its plant both in machinery and space. The current manufacturing capacity is 18 machines per annum and hopes to increase the capacity of 25 machines by next year.

Maxima Exb-35 is the flagship automatic die-cutting machine of the company. The die-cutting machine is equipped with PLC controls which ensures smooth operation and is capable of self-diagnosis. This indicates faulty set up and necessary damage control of machine.

Maxima Exb-35 can be seen with live demonstration at Excel Machinery stall in Hall 5 / Stall C-09/02.

 

First Paper Idea India

First Paper Idea India (FPIIPL) was founded in year 2009 with the focus on providing world class software & business consulting solutions to the Indian Print Industry.

In year 2010, FPIIPL founded Paper Bind to provide technologies which can address the problems being faced by print finishing industry. Paper Bind offers finishing equipments which uses patented technologies and designs. All Paper Bind equipment are manufactured in technical JV with European companies in India, Europe and China. Its product portfolio comprises of digital cutting machines, creasing and perforation systems, case-making, adhesive system, PUR binding, pressure binding, hot foil stamping, folding machines, digital slit cut and crease (SCC), joggers.

For the company this will be the second PrintPack and the biggest ever since its inception. With 126 sqm stand at the show, the company is poised to showcase its new portfolio of PUR binders for mid and high volume book printers and print-finishing solutions for digital printers and quick printers. This includes PUR System 444 Plus and Surelam II 540.

Paper Bind PUR System 444 plus does not require an external glue system, and is able to run both hot-melt and PUR glue with no mechanical change over. The machine features auto cleaning and no need to purge the glue from the system. The operators can simply add glue when needed - no glue is wasted. The System 444 binds book with spines over 440mm. It automatically measures book block thickness and adjusts accordingly and has adjustable milling from 0mm-2mm.

Fujifilm India

Fujifilm India will be using the PrintPack India 2013 platform to unveil its latest strategy for digital printing solutions as well as a launch platform for a brand new range of high performance Acquity series printers. Fujifilm will showcase Acuity LED 1600 ranges and along with Mimaki wide format inkjet printers (latex and solvent series printers).

The Acuity LED 1600 is capable of printing at a speed of 20 sq/meter per hour on a wide range of media of up to 13mm thick using high-speed inkjet print head and high sensitivity UV ink.

The Acuity LED 1600 can be seen at Fujifilm India stall in Hall 7 / Stall D-12/08.

 

Grafica Flextronica

Grafica Flexotronica specialises in the manufacture and supply of a wide range of screen printing machines for various applications, cylinder presses, textile printing machines, roll to roll sheet fed screen printing machines, UV curing machines, screen making equipment, accessories and allied products. Its manufacturing facility along with a fully equipped educational and training centre (DMI) is located at Vasai.

It has been catering to the screen-printing industry in India and abroad since 1989 with over 2000 customer base. It has been exporting the 'made in India' screen printing machines to countries such as USA, Russia, France, Kenya, Dubai, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh.

At its stall in PrintPack, Grafica will display live demonstrations of its cylinder press with inline UV, camshell and Nano series machines such as Nano-Print, Nano-Print Plus, Nano-Screen Maker 5-In-1, Nano-Sharpener and Nano-UV, besides huge collection of screen printed value addition samples.

HCL Infosystems

Distributors of Konica Minolta digital production presses, HCL was recently in news for installing the 1000th Konica Minolta Bizhub press in India as well as its partnership with Intec Printing Solutions, the manufacturer and distributor of extreme heavy stock colour digital printing systems.

At PrintPack, the company plans to continue its concentrated approach towards the mid and entry-level digital press buyers. At the show, HCL will showcase a new mono production printer launched at Drupa. In addition, the company will also display Colour MFD of Toshiba.

The new monochrome production printer can be seen at HCL’s stall in Hall H3 / Stall J-20/06.
