Print students get career advice from Esko and YesGo

The Department of Printing Technology at Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College in Sivakasi hosted a career guidance programme for the benefit of its students studying diploma course in printing technology on 1 March 2019.


In an interactive session, Yes Go’s Nizamappas and Esko’s Frederick John encouraged students about a career in the printing industry.

A Paramasivam, lecturer printing technology, Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, welcomed the gathering. The principal at the institute Dr M Nandakumar presided over and inaugurated the programme.

John spoke about trends in packaging, impact of packaging on environment, and delved into package designing. He also made video demonstration about packaging innovations.

Nizam Appas made an inspiring speech as he narrated the story of his life. In his speech he explained how to continuous skill development is necessary to remain relevant in today’s dynamic world.
