As per reports, the project is expected to be commissioned by February-March 2026.

KV Sajay, CEO of Zelestra India, said, “Tamil Nadu has consistently led India's renewable energy transition, and our team’s 1+ GW execution experience in Tamil Nadu, makes it the perfect location for our first C&I wind-solar hybrid project. By combining the naturally complementary wind and solar technologies, we can deliver reliable power that effectively addresses the manufacturing sector's energy needs."

According to the PTI report, the project with a total capacity of 150-mw will be built, owned, and operated by the company under the Intra-State Open Access model. This will supply 7.2-crore units per annum, resulting in a reduction of 57.6-mt CO2 emissions annually.
