Balaji Rajagopalan, executive director, technology, channels and international distributor operations, Xerox India, said, “The road show was a great success. We saw attendance and participation from over 10 partners and witnessed enthusiasm and excitement across the floor for the equipment. It is always interesting to see how South India adopts technology at such a fast pace, making it a key focus area for us. We are always glad to come back to this part of the country for product showcases and discussions.”

The company believes that both Versant 2100 and Xerox Color C60 will transform the digital printing industry. The Color C70 offers the widest range of applications in this market space, including running synthetics, vinyls, window clings, carbonless paper, non-tear paper, transfer papers, magnets and many other unique applications that are made possible with Xerox’s low melt toner and flexible paper path.

“Furthermore, the newly developed, heat-efficient IH fuser does not require preheating, which helps reduce power consumption in standby mode by 44% compared to a resistance heating device. The Xerox Versant 2100 press has an offset-like matte finish, which will revolutionise the digital printing industry in India and will also expand the market to tier-II cities for on-demand printing in the commercial and photo printing segments,” Rajagopalan added.

Xerox had organised similar kind of road shows in Jaipur, Mumbai and Chennai, and two more road shows are in the pipeline at Thiruvananthapuram and Andhra Pradesh. The Chennai road show was attended by more than 100 visitors.
