Anil Namugade,  spokesperson for Trigon Digipack, said the need for an automated inspection solution became evident as volumes grew and quality requirements tightened.  "With increasing volumes and higher quality expectations from our customers,  we felt the need for a reliable automated Inspection system.  The Pulisi PAIM 370S was a natural choice to strengthen our quality control process and ensure consistent output without slowing down production,” he explained.

Before the installation, Trigon Digipack relied largely on manual Inspection processes,  which while effective to an extent, had inherent limitations. “Manual inspection was time-consuming and could miss minute defects.  We wanted to address issues such as print inconsistencies,  colour variation, misregistration, and missing elements, while also reducing rework and wastage,” Namugade added.

According to the company, the Pulisi PAIM 370S stood out among available inspection systems due to its stable performance, ease of operation, and proven accuracy. Its capability to inspect a wide range of substrates and label types, coupled with dependable after-sales support, made it a suitable fit for Trigon Digipack’s production environment.

From a technology standpoint, the machine’s high-resolution 4K line Scan camera system,  real-time defect detection, and precise comparison with a master reference were key factors influencing the decision. These features ensure that even minor deviations are detected consistently, maintaining quality across long production runs.

Since commissioning, the inspection process has seen a marked improvement in terms of speed, precision, and reliability. The system enables continuous inspection without interrupting production, allowing errors to be identified instantly and corrected early in the process. This has helped the company save time, reduce wastage, and deliver higher-quality output.

The Pulisi PAIM 370S is currently being used primarily for self-adhesive labels, decorative labels, and other high-quality printed labels, where visual consistency and precision are critical.

Namugade also highlights the role played by Intergraphic Sales & Services during the installation phase. “Our experience with Intergraphic Sales & Services has been very positive. The installation was smooth, the training was practical and easy to understand, and their post-sales support has been responsive and professional,” he said.

Pulisi has more than 100+ Installations across India

Looking ahead, Trigon Digipack views automation and inspection technology as integral to its growth strategy. “This investment strengthens our quality assurance system and helps ensure defect-free labels reach our customers. As we scale up, automation and inspection will play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency, faster turnaround times, and consistent quality,”  Namugade concluded.
