Following the official launch of its Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (HMPSA) in November, the company is exhibiting the HMPSA as its first major public platform to introduce it to the hygiene and labelling markets.

Shaktivel Nadar, key accounts manager at Super Bond Adhesives, described the HMPSA launch as a strategic move to offer a domestic alternative to international products. “We are the only manufacturer doing this in India as of now,” Nadar stated, noting that the company’s goal is to remain price-competitive while maintaining quality standards on par with global benchmarks.

A significant portion of the company’s 2026 outlook is dedicated to sustainable manufacturing. Super Bond has introduced polyolefin-based adhesives, designed to be more easily recyclable than traditional formulations.

According to Nadar, polyolefin-based technology represents a growing trend in the industry, driven by an increase in customer enquiries for environmentally conscious bonding solutions. “Our factory and manufacturing levels are focused on sustainability,” he explained. “Polyolefin-based adhesive is the trend people are looking out for, and we are currently the sole Indian manufacturer in this category.”

While the exhibition highlights new technology, the company’s presence is also anchored by its heritage brand, P-lock. The water-based adhesive series has been in production for five decades and remains a core part of the business, with annual sales exceeding one lakh-tonnes.

“P-lock is the brand that made Super Bond flourish throughout the country,” Nadar noted. On display at the stand are various grades from this series, alongside newer glue sticks and the recently launched hot melt pressure-sensitive range.

For the 2026 edition of Pamex, the company is focused on exploring new opportunities in the packaging sector and the specialised hygiene market.

Operating from its factory in Bhiwandi, the Made in India company aims to leverage the exhibition to gather market data and establish connections with new customers looking for domestic adhesive solutions.
