According to Wasif Akther of KGN, a Xerox loyalist, they had to replace the Xerox 700 digital press at their shopfloor which was running out of contract. "After an in-depth market survey and comparative study with other similarly placed machines we felt the C1100 to be an ideal replacement for the Xerox 700," said Wasif who heads KGN with his brother Asif Akther.

The distinguishing factor according to Wasif is C1100's speed and abilities to print on various textured papers. The USP of the C1100 machine, according to him was the machine's ability to print 350 gsm duplex boards and its two-side printing feature, which no other machine in the similar price category was able to offer.

Volume-wise, KGN Xerox is the largest in Hyderabad producing over one-and-a-half lakh impressions of A3 colour prints a month and eight to nine lakh impressions of A4 of black and white copies. Even in plotting and plan layouts, KGN does the maximum volume in Hyderabad.

The C1100 production machine, which is only a couple of months old, has already produced more than three lakh impressions for KGN.
