Abhishek Gupta. proprietor of Skynet India, said, “Our association with Konica Minolta has been longstanding, with multiple installations over the years. We began with the Konica Minolta AccurioPress 6100, followed by purchasing the AccurioPress C7090 machine in August 2025. The decision to continue investing in Konica Minolta was driven by our positive experience with the machines’ performance, consistency, and reliability. The Konica Minolta team provided strong support during installation, along with comprehensive training. Their staff was extremely helpful, offering hands-on guidance to ensure smooth operations and optimal utilisation of the equipment.”
Alongside Konica Minolta machines, which handle our high-production colour printing requirements, the company has also installed Xerox machines for black-and-white printing. “This combination allows us to efficiently manage different print volumes and job types while ensuring consistent quality and productivity across our operations,” Gupta said.
Skynet India was established in 2007 and is led by its proprietor, Abhishek Gupta, who brings over 17–18 years of experience in the printing industry. The company began its journey as an IT services firm, specialising in the setup of computers, servers, and wi-fi infrastructure. In 2009, Skynet India expanded into the printing ecosystem by becoming a machine dealer for Xerox India. Building on this expertise, the company entered the printing business in 2012 through a joint venture focused on machine sales and print services. Skynet India started exclusively with digital printing, initially operating small-format machines for book printing, before steadily expanding its capabilities.
“Our principal clientele is predominantly B2B, with a strong focus on offset printers and graphic designers who form the core of our customer base. We work closely with industry professionals to support their printing and production requirements, offering services such as visiting cards, labels and stickers, certificates, mark sheets, binding, as well as comprehensive pre-press and post-press solutions. Our digital printing capabilities enable us to efficiently handle a wide range of value-added jobs, making us a reliable partner for businesses across the printing ecosystem,” Gupta said.
The company currently has a team of 18 staff members working across our operations. The team is structured to efficiently manage various functions, ensuring smooth workflows and consistent quality across pre-press, printing, finishing, and delivery.
“Our investment in Konica Minolta is generating good volumes and healthy returns, with an average daily output of approximately 6,000–7,000 prints. Operating in a highly competitive, low-margin B2B market does exert pressure on pricing and profitability. However, supported by steady demand and efficient utilisation of the machine, we expect to achieve a full return on investment within around two years, making this a sound and sustainable business decision.” Gupta concluded.
