After a two-year lull, PrintWeek Awards is back with fresh categories and time is ripe for the label printers and packaging converters to showcase their prowess at the flagship awards for the print and packaging industry.
This year, we have introduced a set of new categories and there are 11 categories focused on label printers and packaging converters. In the Quality category, there are seven sub-categories for packaging converters and label printers.
This year, the Packaging Converter of the Year category is divided into five different sections such as F&B, FMCG, Pharma, Rigid Box, and Textile. Likewise, the Label Printer of the Year will be having two different sections for Wet-glue as well as Self-adhesive.
Similarly, we have revamped the Performance category to accommodate diverse entries. The Packaging Company of the Year category is now divided into four categories such as Folding Cartons (Volume), Folding Cartons (Specialisation), Flexible Packaging, and Rigid Packaging (Metal / PET / Plastic).
In 2019, the Packaging Company of the Year Award was shared by UFlex and Printmann Group. This year, we expect to see more companies share the award considering the fresh categories in the 12th edition of the PrintWeek Awards.
