A six-colour Smart-680 full rotary offset press has been sold to a prominent Indian customer, underscoring Zonten's ability to deliver high-performance printing solutions. This machine is similar to those installed at Bilaspur-based Sprinpak and Ahmednagar-based Avon Flexible and Packaging Products.
Bangalore-based MR Prints has invested in an auto inspection 4K camera system, further solidifying its position in the market.
Vapi-based Hindustan Flexible has acquired a 550 MM intermittent die-cutting and converting machine, ideal for IML labels, demonstrating its commitment to expanding its capabilities.
Meanwhile, Ahmedabad-based Ramdoot Packaging has chosen Zonten's intermittent offset press with four servo drives for its expansion programme.
At Labelexpo Asia 2025, the Zonten booth has been a hub of activity, with a steady stream of visitors exploring the company's comprehensive range of high-quality flexo, intermittent offset, full rotary offset, and converting machines. “This enthusiasm reflects the industry's growing recognition of Zonten's innovative solutions and commitment to delivering exceptional value to its customers,” Manish Hansoti of S Kumar, the Indian representative of Zonten, said.
The ZTP 350 inspection system, featuring a 4K line camera from DALSA and Zonten's covert system, ensures 100% defect-free labels. The system provides detailed reports for faulty labels, inspected by operators, and is competitively priced for new users transitioning from manual inspection.
Hansoti said Ramdoot’s strategic investment reflects its confidence in Zonten's technology and underscores the company's commitment to leveraging advanced printing solutions to drive growth and excellence. This is the company’s second Zonten intermittent offset press. The exceptional support provided by Zonten's engineers, who invested over 45 days in fine-tuning the presses installed in 2024 and 2025, underscores the dedication to customer satisfaction.
“The Indian government's policy shift, allowing Chinese engineers to visit India, is expected to further enhance support and service levels, enabling Ramdoot Packaging to optimise its operations and boost productivity. This development is likely to strengthen the partnership between Zonten and Ramdoot Packaging, driving growth and innovation in the packaging industry,” Hansoti said.
