The Department of Printing Technology, Regional Institute of Printing Technology (RIPT), Kolkata, West Bengal, has announced a specialised four-day online workshop titled Applications of AI in the Printing Industry. Scheduled to take place over two consecutive weekends in April 2026, the programme aims to bridge the gap between traditional print production and the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI).
Participants will explore a wide range of thrust areas, including pre-press automation, digital printing, predictive maintenance, and intelligent workflow management. The curriculum is tailored for senior managerial professionals, production supervisors, and quality assurance specialists, as well as researchers and students looking to upgrade their skills in process control.
The sessions are scheduled for 11 and 12 April, and 18 and 19 April 2026.
