Renuka Softtec bets on strong growth at Pamex

Reflecting on the past year, Renuka Softtec, a print ERP provider, described 2025 as a standout period, marked by both growth and diversification. “2025 was excellent for us. Our turnover grew by around 1.5 times,” said Manish Kothalkar.

Building on that momentum, Renuka has expanded into two new verticals, both of which are currently under development. “By the end of this financial year, we will be launching them. We are already developing these models for our customers, and the response so far has been encouraging.”

On the technology front, the company is investing in Python-based development and artificial intelligence, while remaining clear-eyed about the limitations of AI. “AI is a very fancy term today. You really need to identify whether AI is required or not. Otherwise, people are just using AI as a buzzword to sell things,” said Kothalkar.

In terms of new launches at exhibitions, Kothalkar said that the company said it is not chasing novelty for its own sake. “You can’t develop something new every second or third month. Development takes time.” The company typically focuses on large, premium accounts. “We target big customers, around INR 50-crore or more. Mostly, we target large players. So far, enquiries have been limited, but usually the second and third days are more productive.”

When asked about the biggest bottleneck to profitability in the current market, the response was blunt. “The biggest problem is that many people don’t even know their cost of production.” This lack of cost awareness, particularly visible during exhibitions, continues to impact pricing discipline and long-term sustainability across the digital printing ecosystem.
