PVG to organise Print-era from 19-21 January

Pune Vidhyarthi Griha’s (PVG) College of Engineering and Technology will organise its annual event ‘Printera’ from 19-21 January at its Pune campus.

Abhinay Mahajan,  head of department for printing at PVG, said, “The event will host an exhibition, trade fair, various technical and non-technical events for students of engineering. The list of planned event for the year include paper presentation, debate, print quiz, treasure hunt, logo making,  cost estimation, NTH(network treasure hunt), chess, roadies and box cricket.”
 
“The event will also include a trade fair, which will be conducted this year on 21 January where well-known printing firms will display their products. This will help students to gain knowledge of printing technology and also to interact with the firms. These firms will have an advantage to attract bright talent and will also help students to get internships and training in their firms,” concluded Mahajan.
 
In 2013, the event was inaugurated by Ravi Joshi, chairman of Poona Press Owners Association (PPOA) and attracted 400 participants and 1200 visitors. The event also received sponsorships from press owners of Pune namely Keetronics India, Shreeram Enterprises, Unique Labels, Pratiroop, Poona Press Owners Association (PPOA) and Screen Print India (SPI) from Mumbai.
