PrintWeek Awards 2025: Letra Graphix wins Label Printer of the Year

Across four submissions, the company demonstrated how craft and technology converge to transform labels into objects of desire — shimmering, tactile, and impossible to ignore.

For Marico’s Parachute capsule (7,000 running metres) labels, printed on PP silver using a Gallus Labelfire, depth was created with layers of flexo and screen whites. The capsule glimmered with holographic foil, while the iconic coconut remained elegantly minimal, accentuated with a fine gold lacquer that delivered the brilliance of three foils in one.

Tata Trent’s fragrance oil label (7,000 running metres), printed clear-on-clear, played with light and translucency. Gold foil highlights and gloss varnish created a refined sophistication, with tactile finishes that invited both touch and sight.

RND Beauty Concept (3,500 running metres) label achieved a perfect no-label look on clear stock. Screen emboss and window gloss transformed the smallest legal text into a subtle design element. 
Finally, John Distillery’s spirit label (2,500 running metres) was a 10+ colour in-line marvel on aluminium emboss paper, a jewel-like finish achieved through cold foil, screen emboss, gloss, and matte varnishes.

The jury called Letra Graphix’s work “a benchmark in premium labelling,” praising its “flawless registration, daring use of substrates, and mastery of embellishment.”
