Khetan Corrucase, an ISO 9001:2015 and FSC-certified MSME, has been honoured with the prestigious Small Company of the Year award. Founded in 2016 by Ashok Khetan and Ayush Khetan, the Mumbai-headquartered company operates a state-of the-art manufacturing facility in Telangana. Ashok Khetan brings three decades of experience in the brown box making industry, having worked with numerous MNCs and FMCG companies and developing an array of corrugated packaging structures. Ayush Khetan, a Warwick University alumnus, contributes four years of industry expertise. From its inception, Khetan Corrucase set out to disrupt the traditional commodity-like corrugated box manufacturing sector by adding significant value to the business.

The company boasts a dynamic team with an average age of 27. Khetan Corrucase specialises in a range of innovative packaging products, particularly multi-depth corrugated boxes. These ingenious boxes have revolutionised packaging inventory management and significantly reduced transportation costs. Designed with creased intervals, they can be easily cut to the required height, folded down, and transformed into custom-sized cartons. This versatility makes them ideal for food packaging, electronic goods, and gifts, offering ease of shipping, holding, and use.

The company’s focus on consumer-centric ergonomics, high strength, and lightweight design is evident across its product lines. The company also excels in die-cut boxes, which are highly customisable and designed to fit any shape, size, or need. These boxes are precisely cut from plain sheets of corrugated material using a die press or die cutter, featuring perforated lines or access holes, and can be customised with various sizes, finishes, prints, and designs. Khetan Corrucase also produces regular slotted containers (RSC), the familiar four-flap boxes, and offset-printed litho-laminated boxes.

As per the jury, a key factor in their Small Company of the Year win is their role not just as a packaging material vendor, but as a crucial supply chain partner. Khetan Corrucase’s mantra is to provide clients with the most economical packaging solutions while ensuring the supply chain remains operational even in challenging conditions. Recognising the volumetric nature of corrugated boxes, the company has leveraged supply chain engineering to cater to clients across five different states, covering distances of up to 1,000-kilometres. This is supported by their own fleet of containers operating around the clock and a substantial warehousing capacity of 10,000-sqft for finished goods, within a total constructed shed of 85,000-sqft. Financially, Khetan Corrucase has demonstrated exceptional growth. Gross sales increased by 31.98%, the highest in its category, and profit before tax saw an increase of 17.80%, also the highest. These financial and operational achievements underscore Khetan Corrucase’s well-deserved recognition as the Small Company of the Year.
