HBD Packaging returns to win this category for the second straight time. The company impressed the Jury with four standout entries that underlined the company’s ability to deliver premium cartons across diverse product categories. The submission ranged from food to beverage packs, each produced with precision pre-press, advanced offset technology, and intricate finishing that elevated brand presence on shelf.
For LT Foods’ Daawat Jasmine Thai Rice, the company produced a three-ply lock-bottom carton on metPET board. Pre-press involved Esko workflow with ArtPro+, Automation Engine, and Technova CTP, while printing on an RMGT 970 seven-colour press with LED lamps ensured colour vibrancy. Finishing included gloss UV, metPET lamination, and precision window patching. Axiom Ayurveda’s Alo Frut Celebration Pack was shaped through die-cutting with a plastic handle. Printed again on the RMGT 970 with LED inks, the pack featured inline drip-off coating and metPET lamination for texture and premium appeal.
The Haldiram Soan Cake carton was litho-laminated, printed on a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX, and elevated with matte lamination, fine foiling, embossing, and flute lamination. Finally, the Dharmpal Premchand Makhana Festival Pack showcased intricate die-cutting on metPET laminate with embossing, gloss and matte UV, and an irregular flap that doubled as a carry handle.
The jury said the four entries “showcased design flair matched with technical rigour,” and praised HBD Packaging for “delivering packaging that is as functional as it is visually striking”.
