Bengaluru’s Brilliant Printers secures the PrintWeek Book Education Company of the Year 2025, and a recognition for its scale and specialisation in educational publishing for the second year in succession.
In 2024–25 Brilliant produced between 13 and 15-million copies of children’s educational books, using a wide range of finishes from saddle stitching and perfect binding to hard case binding. Durability and visual appeal have been central to these books, which are exported to the US and Europe as part of supply chains for leading educators.
In India, the company produced nearly seven-million textbooks for the Karnataka government, distributed to more than 200 locations. Ranked second in quality and delivery for this project, Brilliant reinforced its position as a reliable partner in state education. The portfolio also extended to two-million medical textbooks across specialities such as ophthalmology, ENT and forensic medicine, with a focus on accurate medical graphics. Premium children’s books highlighted its finishing expertise, from perforation and foil stamping to embossing, edge gilding and UV. All materials complied with Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) safety standards.
With high-volume output across sectors, a stable export market and strong state contracts, the company has built both financial resilience and the capacity for sustained growth. And that’s the reason Brilliant Printers is Book Education Company of the Year.
