The Mumbai-headquartered corrugated box manufacturer is said to be India’s first corrugated facility to run on 80% solar power. Khetan Corru Case (also known as CorruCase) was in the news during the beginning of the pandemic for its water-resistant, heavy-duty corrugated beds for quarantine facilities.

The plant in Hyderabad (fully automatic 5-ply corrugated plant and 3-ply and 5-ply litho-laminated boxes) and a plant in Navi Mumbai armed with Roland Ultra presses, converting and finishing equipment. The group also produces offset printed box (mono cartons but fluted).

One of the reasons CorruCase has won the award is because of how it handles transport/logistics and provides round-the-clock support to clients. With business model engineering, the team is trying to sustain the logistics cost and provide clients with the most economical packaging solutions by keeping logistics costs to a minimum.

In addition to logistics support, the group is highly focussed on optimising the carton design structure through light-weighting.

This award is for adhering to best practices in sustainable production.
