In the Indian print and packaging industry, more than 70% of businesses are family-owned. As per a mini-survey we conducted during the PrintWeek Awards 2024, more than 75% of the businesses continue to have the founders playing a key role in the family business, with 70%  of them having inducted a second-gen or third-gen member.

The third edition of Forty Under 40 will spotlight inspirational print and packaging stories; people who have contributed to the business and have achievements which are success stories. The theme of PrintWeek’s Forty Under 40 is technology.

Nominees will have proven successes in the past 12 months, a strong trajectory in their own careers, an ability to lead others to perform and an ability to inspire the rest of the industry.

The submission process includes online registration and a comprehensive profile of the participants (minimum 500 words) highlighting their achievements, contributions, and impact on industry. The submission should also include any supporting documents or testimonials.

There will be online polling after the review process is done by the PrintWeek team. The selected honorees will be notified and featured in the January 2026 issue of PrintWeek magazine, showcasing their achievements and contributions.

These young industry leaders are optimistic and exploring how to use multiple technologies to create that one great job, and they are promoting transparency. The industry has remained a bright spot for top-end spending despite slowdown in many other markets. The forty winners are the backbone to this growth.

The fourth edition of Women to Watch Awards is set to take place on 8 March 2026. The previous edition witnessed participation from packaging professionals to sales champions, graphic designers and CEOs. The awards displayed the diversity of talent and how their achievements cannot be underwritten.

All the award winners and participants push their boundaries, redefine what leadership looks like, not only in boardrooms but in classrooms, R&D labs, press rooms, and client meetings. Women are demonstrating how strategy, sustainability, and mentorship intersect to build smarter, more inclusive businesses.
