PrintPack: Megabound showcases the new Kineta 550

Bengaluru-based manufacturer of case-making and perfect binding machines, Megabound has launched the new fully automatic case makingmachine, Kineta 550 during PrintPack India 2011.

Srinivasa Reddy, managing director at Megabound, said: "This is the only Indian manufactured fully automatic case-making machine."

The new case making machine Kineta 550 which took eight years to come to shape has speed which varies from seven to 25 cases per minute. This machine has been sold to the Pune-based Sudarshan Stationery Mart.

Anand Karamchandani, partner at Sudarshan Stationery Mart, said: "The machine is designed as per the Indian requirement. We are already using the Megabound case-making machine and are very sure of the productivity of the new Kineta 550. We are producing 60,000 cases
every month and after the installation of the new Kineta 550, our production will be doubled."

Rames Karuppathevar, technical director at Megabound, said: "For last eight years, I have been doing the research and development for the fully automatic case-making machine and I have made it possible."

Karuppathevar added: "Our research was based on the feedback we received from the industry. The printers helped us to develop the fully automatic case-making machine."

The company claims that this new machine will be economical and easy to operate.

Reddy said: "The new case-making machine is affordable and fits the budget. It is 15-20% cheaper than the other fully automatic case making machine available in the market. The advantage of the new machine is its simplicity to operate."

Established in 2001, Megabound has strong presence in Nepal, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Malayasia, Kenya, Serbia and South America.
