When Preeti Mishra takes the stage at Print & Beyond 2026, she will not present a trend deck. She will tell a story.
The director and head of business development at Holosafe Security Labels is set to address the seminar hosted by the Kerala Master Printers Association in Kochi on 28 February. Her theme draws from an unconventional shift, from banking into security printing, and the six lessons she says redefined her understanding of the industry within a year.
“Interestingly, those lessons align almost exactly with the shifts shaping print in 2026,” Mishra said, speaking to PrintWeek/WhatPackagng?.
Among them is a sharp emphasis on operational discipline over mere scale. Growth without control, she suggests, is fragile. “Execution and process maturity matter more than headline expansion,” she explained.
She will also examine value-driven differentiation in security print, where compliance, trust and brand protection outweigh commodity pricing. Sustainability, she argues, is no longer optional. “It is a business mandate, not a marketing add-on.”
Mishra plans to touch on hybrid and digital agility, the persistent skills and manpower gap, and the need for data-driven and predictive decision-making. But rather than presenting these as abstract trends, she will anchor them in real situations she encountered while navigating a new industry. “The industry is evolving fast, and we must evolve with it.”
For an audience grappling with margin pressure, talent shortages and technological acceleration, her session promises a practical, experience-led perspective on where discipline meets disruption.
Besides Mishra, Pulkit Chhaparia, managing director at Cambay Foodservices Packaging, Surat will talk about Packaging in a de-globalised world, and Prof Rajendrakumar Anayath, vice chancellor at Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit University, Haryana will talk on Digital disruption and its impact.
P Sajith, managing director at Impel Services (Bindwel-Stelda Group) will deliver the keynote.
