Pressman Academy to launch an ECG workgroup
India-based Pressman Academy for Print Education and Research (PAPER) will launch an online workgroup to undertake projects on Expanded Colour Gamut (ECG), in an attempt to encourage more printers to try this process.

This group will include all technical partners which has equipment manufacturers, software developers, measuring device manufacturers, printers, consumable manufacturers etc.
"This idea was a result of our first ECG evaluation work in association with Nilpeter India, PVG's College of Engineering and Technology, Pune etc., at Nilpeter’s facility in Chennai. In fact this project was taken up by final year students under the guidance of Dr. Akshay V Joshi, printing engineering department, PVG COET ,” said K Panthala Selvan of PAPER.

The workgroup has its first event on 18 December 2020 at 3.00 pm where they launch it officially and will showcase their first project.
