Needless to say, the calendar shows the best in printing and post-printing works. Pragati has once again ensured that the images are "almost" original artworks. Over the years, the award-winning calendars from Pragati Offset have become a collectors’ item.

The calendar opens with a tribute to the founder of Pragati Offset and a stalwart of the Indian printing industry, Hanumantha Rao, who was responsible for laying the foundation for Pragati Offset's success in commercial print and packaging.

Rao passed away on 2 March at the age of 91 after a struggle with ill health.

Harsha Paruchuri of Pragati spoke to PrintWeek India and unraveled the making of the calendar.
