The new machine will be shipped in Q2 2017 after certain modifications to meet Nutech’s requirements are made. Unil then, the manufacturer will install a Scodix Ultra at the Nutech shopfloor, which will be replaced once the E106 arrives.

According to Shroff, Nutech will use this digital finishing kit for the production of high-end and premium packaging jobs in the print-run range of 15,000 to 20,000 pieces.

The B1-format machine has production speeds of up to 4,000 sph, which Monotech’s chief executive TP Jain said, would help Nutech differentiate their offerings.

Nutech will use this machine in conjunction with its latest Heidelberg CD 102. “The E106 can do foiling with standard foils, thereby overcome the challenge of using expensive foils for cold foiling,” said Shroff.
