Nithya Packaging invests in Robus’s die-cutting solution

Pondicherry-based Nithya Packaging, a prominent packaging player and substantial supplier of papers, has invested in a Dayuan BHT-1650FC die-cutting machine from Robus India.
Incorporated in 1996, Nithya Packaging is backed by a team of 500 skilled printing and packaging professionals. The company is considered as one of the best Kraft paper mills in Pondicherry. Alongside the paper manufacturing, Nithya Packaging is also widely accredited as manufacturer of corrugated boxes, boards, and printed and laminated cartons.
“In our packaging unit, there are some machines currently playing pivotal roles in maintaining quality and proficiency in products and productivity,” said Vijay Raman, director of Nithya Packaging.
He added, “Among the key machines in our packaging unit is a die-cutting system from Robus India — Dayuan BHT-1650FC. A compact die-cutting machine, Dayuan BHT-1650FC with bottom-feeder is capable to handle maximum sheet size of 1,650x1,200-mm wherein the maximum die-cutting size is of 1,630x1,180-mm. Operating to die-cut 6000sph, this cutting-edge machine from Robus India is perfect for high-speed production of efficient outputs. It has advanced features for accurate sheet registration and precise cutting, which even includes micro-adjustment for cutting plates.
Die-cutting in accuracy of ±1mm, adjusting pressure in the range of ±1.5mm, Dayuan BHT-1650FC’s automated features include auto-paper aligning capability, non-stop feeding with automatic pile changing and a well-designed touch-screen control panel for smooth operations and data display. In addition, this fully automated die-cutter from Robus India is designed with efficient waste removal and clean cut.
