NBG has tied up with Yawa and Dinshung, a Taiwan-based company who are manufacturers of litho laminators. To-date, seven machines have been installed in India at companies like Packer Products, Karn Laminators etc.

The main feature about  Midas is that the machine can convert a wide range of stocks of different thickness of paper which ranges from 180 gsm to 800 gsm. It has an automatic pressure adjustment depending on different flute size and also an anilox gluing system.

According to Nitin Garg, the director, "When FDI comes in, Indian market will grow and there will be demand for increase of volumes, and over a period, consolidation of small companies will happen which will aid growth and also organise the corrugated sector."

NBG Printographic Machinery is a Delhi based company and has its core competence in web offset. This year they have branched out into the converting machine business because as Garg stated, "the market of web offset has matured in India, whereas packaging is at its peak."

Meanwhile Yawa which is also handled by NBG has 12 die-cutters that have been installed in India.
