Nandu Graphics adds with two new Canon kit
The company offers premium quality graphics and a range of finished products produced on a fleet of high-end digital production presses

Nadu Graphics, a sister concern of Rainbow Graphics in Vijayawada and Guntur City of Andhra Pradesh, has invested in two brand-new Canon ImagePress V800 digital colour production presses, which were installed one after another in a gap of six months at the company’s two different units.
Located strategically on Cherukupalli Vari Street in Vijayawada and Guntur City of Andhra Pradesh, Nandu Graphics’ two units are where customers from different businesses and walks of life gather to grab their choices of premium graphics and end-products such as logos, brochures, pamphlets, stickers, labels, brochures, envelops, visiting cards, invitation cards, letterheads, files, ID cards, bill books, etc. Plus, other applications like posters and promotional signage graphics printed on canvas, flex, and fabric materials are also offered by Nandu Graphics.
Laxman Rao, proprietor of Nandu Graphics, said, “We have been in commercial printing business for more than 16 years. We serve hosts of customers from diverse market segments and businesses over the years. In order to meet the increasing demands for newer applications and high-end graphic innovations, we have chosen the two advanced iPR V800 digital colour production presses from Canon India.”
The first iPR V800 was installed in March, followed by the second one in September this year, both the Canon presses are currently playing vital roles in Nandu Graphics’ digital printing. Rao emphasises that the new Canon systems are compact, capable, highly user friendly, and fully packed with advanced features for oversized production in small footprints. He added, “In a way, these small workhorses are doing big jobs for us, offering impressive productivity, repeatable colours, and incredible automations.”
The iPR V800 is an ideal best-in-class digital colour production press capable to operate at the speed of producing 80 A4ppm with in-line colour automation. It compatibly prints on varied media such as covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1,300-mm in length, which are of 52- to 350-gsm. Graphic prints produced on this compact digital press are in 2,400x2,400-dpi, which is said to be the industry’s leading resolution. “Media versatility of this compact Canon digital press is incredible, which in turn helps us produce new applications for our existing customers as well as the new ones,” Rao added.
Now, running alongside the two new advanced iPR V800 digital production presses at the facilities of Nandu Graphics and Rainbow Graphics are a handful of production presses from other brands. “Each of the machines in our current production setup has its own key role and contribution. In this, we appreciate the team Canon India not only for providing us the two outstanding digital colour production presses but also the unconditional service and support they provide us since the day we started running our first iPR V800 in March,” Rao concluded.
