Delhi-based Mudrakam Digital Press has upgraded with a brand-new Ricoh Pro C9500 digital colour production press, bought from Monotech Systems.
“We have been specialising in cosmetic label printing and such applications. Since the demands for bulk prints and finished products from our customers keep skyrocketing, we have recently chosen the Ricoh Pro C9500, a true digital workhorse, to meet the requirement,” said Navneet Anand, proprietor of Mudrakam Digital Press. He added, “This robust digital colour production press has now enabled us to cater to almost 300,000 sheets a month, which eventually meets the most desired print volumes of our customers at their strictest deadlines.”
A top-of-the-line digital colour production system, Ricoh Pro C9500 is capable of operating at an upgradable speed of 95-ppm, compatibly handling heavyweight media. Anand said this digital workhorse from Monotech Systems is commendable for its extraordinarily advanced features and capabilities, which primarily include the printing speed, media flexibility, and print quality. True, Ricoh Pro C9500 prints faster than any other presses in its class, seamlessly handling media ranging from 40- up to 470-gsm for delivering stunning graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x4,800-dpi.
Further, at the core of Ricoh Pro C9500 is the EFI Fiery digital print servers, which significantly improve efficiency and quality in print outputs. Fiery Command WorkStation on the servers facilitates precise job management and colour control. This workflow software supports the variable data printing capabilities of the RICOH digital press in exceptional RIP speed and smooth PDF workflow. These added features of the press enable the production team at Mudrakam to engage in quick production of high-quality prints and personalised graphics with absolute perfection.
Currently, a team of 17 skilled staff members is taking care of the overall printing and production process at Mudrakam. Anand’s younger brother, Ravi Prakash, has also been active in leading the team from the front. “Our team would never let down customers when it comes to meeting their demands for bulk prints to be delivered on time. In this, running of the new Ricoh Pro C9500 is our pride and new capacity in the North-East Delhi’s commercial digital printing market. Our customers at this site of the city are totally wooed by the press’s overall productivity and outputs. We work for customers of diverse backgrounds, which compose of 70% jobbers and 30% end-users,” said Anand.
He added, “We are grateful to the team Monotech Systems for the highly capable Ricoh machine, and unconditional post-sales support they provide us to exploit the full competency of the machine. This is the second Ricoh machine in our facility. The first one was the Pro C7200X installed in 2024 when we just started our business.”
