However, with the JetSci, Monotech claims that it is perhaps the “only manufacturer/integrator in india to provid high-speed industrial inkjet to any variable data printing industry”.

“We provide customers with solution that is packed with power of personalisation (VDP), print protection and complete traceability of product. “There is a big challenge for all the companies to protect their brand and stop counterfeiting. We have a solution now,” said TP Jain, managing director at Monotech.

Jain claimed that there are over 15 successful installations in the last two years. “There are some major projects under brand production with full track and trace solution implemented, which will be delivered and installed soon.”

The Jetsci systems are available in two variants: Y series and M series. While M series is a new product with speeds over 150 m/min either with UV curable inks or water-based inks depending on the applications. Applications which the JetSci can handle include courier bills, redemption tickets, tags, labels, OMR sheets with lithocode and barcodes, certificates and cheque personalisation among others.
