At Pamex 2026, Minosha is continuing to push these flagship systems while expanding into new markets. “Earlier, we were focused mainly on metros and tier-one cities. Now we are expanding into tier-two and tier-three cities with the Pro 7500, targeting the mid-market.”
A newer addition, the Ricoh Pro 5400, is being promoted as a light production engine in tier-two, tier-three and tier-four markets.
2025 marked a strong year of competitive wins across India for Minosha. Growth has been geographically broad-based. “We have done well across India. The East has grown significantly for us, and South India has also performed strongly,” said Prasanna R, national head of production printing business.
“The colour-to-mono ratio is around 80–20,” Prasanna said, adding that the Ricoh Pro 7500 and Pro 9500 remain the company’s strongest performers. “These two models are our champion products.”
Differentiation comes from print quality, media handling and special colour capability. “We offer special colours such as neon red, neon pink, white, clear, gold, silver and invisible red for security printing. This gives us an advantage with customers looking beyond CMYK.” Mono production is also gaining traction for label and tag printing, supported by Ricoh’s high-duty-cycle monochrome engines.
Packaging is emerging as a key growth area for digital. “With customisation and short runs, customers are moving away from offset. Digital gives us that advantage,” Prasanna said. “We are showcasing packaging applications through our application gallery here.” Looking at the broader industry, Prasanna sees a clear turnaround. “Print volumes are increasing. Customers who were pessimistic four years ago are now seeing growth due to new digital applications.”
He added that machines installed pre-Covid are now being replaced. “Opportunities are increasing, volumes are going up, and the outlook is positive.”
