The company’s display focused on variable data printing (VDP) for applications such as serial numbers, batch codes, and barcodes, which were essential for security across the pharmaceutical and packaging sectors.
At the stall, the company exhibited a complete range of HP thermal inkjet (TIJ) heads, ranging from half-inch units to the HP 108-mm singular heads. These solutions were capable of printing high-resolution variable data on various substrates, including shippers and booklets. To cater to the plastic packaging segment, the company also featured its specialised UV curing inks.
“Our expectation from Pamex was that existing customers would visit us to see the new products and envisage new applications for their businesses,” said Hemant Malhotra of Mark Vi Trac Systems.
Reflecting on the market trends of the previous year, Malhotra described the sales environment as having fluctuated between "lukewarm and warm" due to market volatility.
