Madras Print House enters into printing with Xerox Versant 180

Chennai-based Madras Print House, a designing house, has entered into printing with by installing a Xerox Versant 180. Bharathi K, proprietor, Madras Print House, said, “Xerox Versant 180 is a feature rich digital printing press, especially 10-bit technology, FS200. Also, the machine is well priced and fell right into our budget.”

The company is also happy that the press supports printing in vast paper/ board varieties, like handmade paper, PVC sheets, and synthetic sheets. We create profiles/ presets specific to each board, based on the thickness and quality of the paper that helps us achieve good print quality on all types of papers within a quick turnaround. We have the Color Profiler Suite Software and Photo Spectrometer along with the Versant 180.”

Madras Print House provides digital printing solutions for individuals, graphic designers, advertising agencies, and corporates. “We have partnered with offset printers in the region like Shri Balaji Printers, Sterling Prints & Conversions, Venture Media, and Shankar Graphics,” Bharathi added.

The company produces print products like calendars, envelopes, invitations, centre-pinned and bound books and posters with its in-house finishing unit.

Located at Virugambakkam, Chennai, Madras Print House, was established a design firm with the expertise to foresee emerging trends.

Besides, Bharathi K, other key people of the company are Venkatesan K, managing director, who comes with more than 25 years of experience in print production and David Vetriraj, design lead, with over 10 years of experience in graphic and package design.

“We provide design, digital printing, and product finishing, branding and digital marketing,” Bharathi K said, adding that all new business entities are its prime customers.

On working in the digital printing market, Bharathi mentioned different types, quality and price points available in market. “This makes it difficult for us to explain our quality to new clients. In this, our existing customers play a major role in recommending our company and capturing new customers,” she said.

She also mentioned Xerox’s after-sales services. “We’ve been provided trainings on machine handling, software configuration, colour profile suite settings and few basic errors fixes. Their trainings were good and enabled us to start the production very quickly,” she added.
