At Pamex 2026, Kunal Enterprise showcased a shift in the screen printing landscape, moving from traditional manual processes to high-speed, fully automated industrial solutions. Ajay Gandhi, chairman and managing director, noted that while the capital investment climate faced challenges in the previous year due to global tariffs, the current exhibition marks a revival in industry confidence, particularly within the specialised glass and textile transfer sectors.

The company’s partnership with Sakurai remains a focal point, featuring the new MS-80DDS/MS-120DDS direct servo-drive cylinder screen presses. These machines eliminate traditional gears and sprockets in favour of servomotors, achieving a significant speed increase to 3,000 impressions per hour (IPH).

To complement these presses, the Sakurai LQM Evolution series offers high-end 3D luxury foiling. This system enables value-additions such as velvet, matte, spot UV, and braille finishes with pinpoint accuracy — maintaining tolerances within ±0.05-mm — while minimising foil waste.

Beyond commercial packaging, Kunal Enterprise is expanding its footprint into industrial and functional applications. Through its collaboration with Cugher Glass, the firm now provides fully automated lines for flat glass printing, catering to the automotive decal, home appliance, and solar cell sectors.

In the realm of printed electronics, the Sakurai MSDR roll-to-roll series offers a specialised solution for the electronics industry, capable of processing extremely thin substrates down to 25-microns for the precision printing of conductive inks and circuits. To support large-scale industrial operations, the company has also introduced Zentner automatic screen washing and reclaiming lines, which streamline the screen room workflow through contactless cleaning and sustainable water recycling systems.

At Pamex, the company reported a surge in inquiries from the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors.
