Jeeva Net Café invests in eight Canon presses at one go

It takes eight Canon digital presses for Madurai-based Jeeva Net Café to escalate print efficacy and production to a whole new level. Following the concurrent installations of the family of machines of different formats, models, capabilities, and technical specifications from Canon India, there is no such application which the company now fails to pull off. 

Established in 2010, Jeeva Net Café has been serving customers of diverse profiles, backgrounds, businesses, and walks of life over the years. “With our humble beginning, we keep growing as a trusted local printing hub where the finest range of print applications, graphic solutions, and more are printed and produced using a portfolio of advanced machines now dominated by the newly installed eight Canon digital production presses,” said Velayutham Thiruppathirajan, proprietor of Jeeva Net Cafe. 

The eight Canon digital presses currently at the production setup of Jeeva Net Café are: an ImagePress V900, an ImagePrograf TX-5320, a PlotWave T35, and five units of ImageRunner Advance DX 8986. 

“Our main objective of investing in eight Canon presses at a time is to increase productivity, which means to handle higher volume of works or print outputs. After all, it’s a big cost optimisation for us because we were qualified for Canon’s bulk purchase incentives,” Thiruppathirajan said.

He added, “Running the eight Canon machines altogether has eventually built up our confidence and capability to fulfil what exactly our customers want on an urgent basis or at a given deadline. We now efficiently manage bulk print orders or sudden increase of workloads. After all, our big portfolio of machines minimises downtimes caused by maintenances or breakdowns. It also ensures quick turnaround times and operational efficiency.” 

Managed by a dedicated team of 100 highly-skilled staff members, Jeeva Net Café is expansively engaging in document printing & production, large-format graphic printing, and scanning and archiving. 

The company uses the ImagePress V900 to print business documents, marketing collaterals, customised stationeries, booklets, catalogues, etc. Likewise, ImagePrograf TX-5320 is for banners, POP graphics, CAD prints, and others. Meanwhile, PlotWave T35 and ImageRunner Advance DX 8986 are for archiving physical records into searchable PDFs and such jobs. 

All the eight Canon presses at Jeeva Net Café are in full action to produce 50,000 to 100,000 sheets of standard office documents; 10,000 to 25,000 sheets of high-quality marketing materials; and 500 to 1,000-sqft of large-format graphics, all on monthly basis.
