Based in Mehsana, Gujarat, Jay Printers has emerged as a shining example of how automation can unlock a new scale of control, confidence, and customer experience for packaging businesses. For Dhruv Patel, managing partner of Jay Printers, the change was fundamental. “Everything was running fine, but we have experienced real growth only after implementing the Indus Print ERP,” he said.

Like many mid-sized print firms, Jay Printers was navigating scattered job management, inconsistent quotation handling, and poor visibility into stock and costing. Everything seemed to rely on people rather than process, and progress was often slowed down by miscommunication and manual coordination.

Since transitioning to Indus ERP, Jay Printers has experienced a sharp shift in control and clarity. One of the most dramatic improvements came in inventory management, which had previously seen capital locked in uncontrolled raw material flow.

With real-time stock tracking and intelligent purchase planning, the company has reduced its inventory burden from nearly INR 2-crore to under INR 50 lakh — releasing funds that are now being reinvested into strategic growth areas. The system’s automated quotation and costing modules have further reduced dependency on individual team members, making job execution faster, more consistent, and error-free.

The time saved internally has opened new opportunities externally. Patel shares that customer interactions have transformed, because the company has more time. This shift from reactive to proactive customer servicing has strengthened relationships and positioned the business as a more reliable partner in the eyes of clients.

Beyond operations, Indus ERP has brought precision to the sales side of the business as well. Lead tracking, quotation follow-ups, and conversion reports — which were previously handled manually or not at all — are now streamlined into the system. “Now, everything is automated. Earlier, it was difficult to trace how may leads we have received, who are following these leads and so on. Now, we get all the report just in a click,” Patel said. This visibility has empowered the leadership team to take faster decisions and build a more accountable sales process.

But what truly stands out in Jay Printers’ journey is not just the ERP platform — it is the unwavering support that came with it. According to Patel, the Indus team has been by their side every single day of the journey.

With its operations stabilised, costs controlled, and systems strengthened, Jay Printers now looks to the future with renewed ambition. In an industry where many still struggle to track jobs or quote consistently, Jay Printers has quietly built a smart, scalable, and systemised business backbone.
